Hi all.

When I cancel the indicators on my a3 tdi 2002, I sometimes get a weird buzzing sound which seems to come from the hazard warning switch? This seems to stop if I put on my hazards but comes back when I put them off.
Its also not all the time.

Any ideas?

Dodgy Hazard switch IMO, I had exactly the same symptoms, a few days later the indicators started to work intermittently. Get a new switch from the stealers (£28), replace switch and your buzzing problem should go away.

It's a common fault on these cars, along with dodgy temp senders, broken window regulator clips, clutch pedals breaking, vacuum hoses disintegrating........

Mine does this as well, but only since I changed the relay to a new one...strange, I'll just keep an eye on it and see how it goes.

I also had this, but it seems to have stopped doing it now since i had Cruise Control installed... maybe it was to do with the indicator stalk in my case??

I think it only happens if you've not quite fully cancelled (i.e the switch is half way).
