Best dump valve and induction kit for 1.8T?!

Hi all,

Im looking to fit a incudtion kit to my new car soon, a mate has the carbinaro one on his Mk 4 GTi turbo and it sounds lush, has the wastgate chatter thing going on and you can hear the turbo spool up un revving!

Is this a good choice?

Also would look to get a dump valve, had a Bailey piston one on my Cossie yeeeeeeeears back but I think they have advanced them a little since then!

What is a good choice? ive heard of this diverter valve thing, good?

Is is just noise or do they seem to help the 1.8T's?! I recall doing 1/4 miles in my Cossie and was actually getting better times with the dv off!

Any info much apprecaited!

Iirc the S3 already has a DV, you can buy uprated ones, if you do a search for Forge DV should give you some info.

Cant use a BOV on these engines

Oh and the induction kit, expensive way to lose power but gain noise, up to u i spose

As said you can get uprated atmospheric DV's and the Forge 007P always seems to be the one people tend to go for. As for the a new induction kit, personally i think the standard box is perfectly fine and also the best kind for not having much heat soak!
