Remap near cardiff or portsmouth

Alright everyone just joined so hello to everyone!! I was just wondering if anyone knew anywhere, where i could get my 2000 S3 remapped? Ive only bought my S3 a month ago and i live in cardiff and work in portsmouth, so any help would be greatly welcome! i've read through loads of forums on here and been on loads of websites but just keep getting confused!
Was just wondering aswell when i get my remap is there anything i need to purchase aswell to support the remap?

Welcome... To support the remap i'd get a Forge TIP and a Forge Eliminator DV! The standard parts aren't so good after the remap!

It's a shame your too far away otherwise we could have done you a deal on TIP, DV and a remap. If you do decide you want the TIP and DV though, give us a shout and we'll still be able to sort something out for you.

Hi Mate, welcome to the Forum!

Not sure about places close to portsmouth but if you are after a remap nr Cardiff then Westec Performance in Newport can do you a revo map.

They have a website so if you google it, it will return their site.

As said above, you can uprate your DV (Diverter Valve) with an aftermarket one, or simply renew your Audi part at your local stealer for around £20.

The aftermarket ones are better in reliabilty terms, however the standard ones are a fraction of the cost and you can change them regularly. Its up to you really?

As for the TIP, the standard ones can colapse under pressure. I didn't upgrade mine and had no problems at all. Mine was a 2000 S3.

If you've got the cash, get it done for piece of mind. If you haven't, see how it goes and perhaps uprate later?

Oh and before you get it remapped, get a full health check first. Make sure your MAF is functioning properly etc.

They have a decent reputation. Lots of the seat lads use them without any complaints.

You shouldn't have a problem mate..

Ask DPM to do you a deal - £200 all in!
