Poor cornering

Just got my car and have a serious problem, when I corner 1 way the car feels precise but when I turn the other way it feels as if the car is going to roll over. The only way I can describe it is to say it feels as if the car is loose at the rear , I'm baffled by this the car feels loose all round and I have no idea what to do. I tried to check the suspension and it bounces up and down ok, checked the trailing arm bushes and they seem ok not 100% sure how best to check these bits or what I should be lookin for . All help is much appreciated

Will do its so hard to describe feels as if wheel is folding in, body drops down its scary

Sure a spring has not snapped? Also checked the droplinks are all ok. Does it track in a straight line?

Yeah drives straight springs appear to be ok

Old skool - tyre pressures and tread ok ?

A3 1.8 non turbo pressures are at 30 psi 1 rear tire has wear so tyre is jagged on edge of treads
