P1772 Code

Good afternoon all

Recently changed my leon cupra and bought an S3 210 however im having issues with the CTS and thermostat which I know has been covered lots. New CTS and no difference so a friend has plugged and its showing fault code p1772 which I cant seem to find a description of. New thermostat may be needed as its rough idle, loss of power (no boost) over 2500 revs and the temp needle wont really go over 60.

Anyone who can help explain the code p1772??

I have just found that it says Load signal stuck on??

Can you not get it scanned using VCDS? should have the proper description then...

Had a look on Ross Techs wiki and P1772 isn't listed...

From all I could find it looks like its related to the throttle pedal... "Throttle Position Sensor Circuit Shorted to Transmission Control Module" and "Load Signal Stuck On"... throttle pedal controls load request to the ECU so this ties up but a scan with VCDS would be advisable tbh
