Wheel decisions...

Hi lads...

Was looking at a set of 19" A8s for my a3 but ive changed my mind and thinking of going for a set of 18" BBS Lm's now.. but still not sure!!

Both sets of wheels are 8.5" wide all round..

Im looking to get a wide stance on the car as my old car was a mk2 golf with wide wheels..

Would i need to space out the wheels with 8.5" in order to fill the arches more?

Any advice would be good..

BBS LM's are the dogs, buy them if you can afford them, why 18" and not 19" for the BBS's though?

A mate of a mate is selling the Lm's and there only 18" and i dont think i could afford to buy them new..

I think i prefer the LM's as not as many have them as the A8s though..
