NFC car lock

Just curious my phone has NFC and I was wondering if I could get an NFC tag that would mean I could unlock the car with my phone (walk up to it, with phone in pocket) rather than using the key.

Anyone seen this before?

Don't think near field communication would be a good idea on a car, just another way to hack into someone's motor.

True I suppose, however the thieves round here can't even Rob my 89 mini (smashed window but didn't take it :/) so thought it might be something fancy to do

Well it would be interesting to see how it would be done, maybe a modern version of renaults keyless entry.
