hey I got a quick question.
What do you guys use to protect your coilies from salt, dirt, rust etc ?

i found rust on my coilies, cleaned it up with soft brush, soapy water.but don't know what to use to protect em and prevent rust apearing again.

any ideas lads?

Covered mine in waxoyl, stops and prevents rust, not the best looking thing to to but a quick fix if you dont wanna remove them and paint them? In fact I applied it to all over the wheel arches and everything (except brakes and rubber components). Then every 6 months or so I clean it all down and apply again. My arches are pristine. How sad am I...

i clean mine once a month (when doing arches) and using copper paste on the threads to help the adjusters move more freely

I use a product called silver seal from autosmart, it is supposed to be a 6 month paint protector but works brill on coilies it is clear and unseen...:icon_thumright:
