    Revo remap logs on AGU .

    Hi does anyone have some vag com or vcds logs of block 25 on a stage 1 AGU revo remap ? Im looking to compare with mine as after having all vac piipes and boost pips replaced (also PCV ) my requested load never matches actual load and the N75 duty is pegged at 99.6% . Boost gauge reads peak of 17psi with vac of 22hg at idle. Fuel trims are -0.8 % idle , 1.6 % multi . Just want to know if this is normal for a remapped agu. . My MAF log is a max of 142 (brand new Audi one WOT in 3rd to redline) . Im using BK7RE plugs gapped to 0.7mm . Thanks for any help and advice.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, 12 hours and nobody has replied!

    I think that's probably due to the technical nature of your question!

    I'll be honest, I can't comment on requested vs actual load, I've never logged this on my AGU (should have done!)

    Boost and vac readings sound 100% normal to me, and those fuel trims are nothing to worry about, 4% or more is usually where you'd start looking for a problem.

    142g/s sounds a LITTLE low, but not by much at all, I'd expect 150ish usually. Most I've logged on a ko3 was 158g/s with all stage 2 mods and a stage 1 map.

    As for N75 DC, it's not ideal of course, because the turbo is being run flat out, but many, many stage 1 ko3 maps are like this, the tiny little turbo struggles so much to make any boost against the large port AGU, that the wastegate remains shut throughout the rev range.

    All in all, it sounds OK to me, it's nice to read a post where someone actually describes their situation fully rather than leaving us to guess!

    For interest, what kind of requested and actual load percentages ARE you getting?

    Thanks for the reply . I will post up a section of my log. I would just like to know if the agu stage 1 always asks for more than the little ko3 can provide.

    Done some testing today. Took plugs out and they are black showing rich mixture. Lambda is new and i have no leaks(all smoke tested). I then adjusted my actuator two turns more preload. Now my load values match , peak boost is 18 psi and the N75 is now showing a max of 95% which i think is what the stage 1 maps max duty is. Plugs are now a nice tan colour and my maf reading is now 148.

    Brilliant news sounds like you know what you're doing, so make sure the plugs stay a decent colour, and don't go nuts cranking the actuator down any further, and all should be fine.

    What mileage is the car on? the actuator springs do tend to go weak on older cars and cause a few issues. sounds like you've got it sorted though!

    What kind of load values are you getting? I've never logged my AGU, but on my AUM, actual load often exceeds 175%

    Thanks , i started by making small adjustments until i reached a point where requested load met actual load all through the rev range with the n75 highest duty being 95% . When i thought about it being rich , and the n75 being at max it was not flowing enough air . I will post up the log on block 25 before and after. I also kept an eye on inlet temps to make sure the little turbo wasnt working too hard. Max inlet temp was 29. Mileage on the car is 125k so it may well be a weakened actuator. My fuel consumption has also improved a bit. Power delivery has also changed . From being a diesel like big lump of torque which ran out quickly , its now a more liner delivery which holds for longer . It holds 15psi till about 5k then tails off .

    29 degree inlet temps? do you have a FMIC?

    on my daily driver, IAT's get above 60 degrees in summer with the standard SMIC! even now in winter it'll hit 50 degrees after a few hard pulls. at 60 degrees the ECU goes nuts and pulls all the timing out apparently.

    Nope standard cooler but its cold up north ! The highest temps i have seen are 39 . I do have an 80mm cold air intake to the airbox and always run on v power

    Glad to see your issue has been resolved, even running Forge's FMIC I was only getting those kind of temps on my old Leon.

    Interesting to see the actuator being the issue, there are so many variables at stake you can spend a fortune just 'scatter gun' testing until you can find the culprit.

    Forge do an uprated actuator if yours gets any worse than it is, sounds OK now you've tightened things up.

    Just for anyone interested , my actuator is weak casing some of the issues above . You can buy replacement ones from turbo dynamics for the KO3 turbo
