removing front grill

just had a quick go on my s reg 1.8t a3 to remove the grill!
looks to be well stuck in and cant see any easy way of removing it anyone with any help as im trying to fit new gill in place /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You need to remove the whole front bumper and take the grill out from behind. Once the bumpers is removed it's pretty obvious how to remove the grill.

Quite easy to remove the front bumper.

If you do a search you should be able to find some posts by my self /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Not that difficult.
On the S3 at least you loosen some plastic fasteners just above the grille (with the hood open) by pushing down the center part (like a small plug) of the fastener with a srewdriver or similar and the pulling the fastener up. (don't lose the small plugs)
Then there was some screws under the car, and some in the inner-fender area.
Then you just pull the side of the bumper straight out and it will be possible to push the bumper forward. repeat on the other side of the car and it's loose !
