A cloud of smoke . . . . . ?

Driving down the duel carrageway and BOOM grey smoke is pouring out my exhaust.

I had just got my car back from the garage btw.

Looking under the bonnet and i can see that the top dv to inlet pipe wasnt connect inlet end, also the N75 boost valve wasnt connected to the actuator.

Would this cause my turbo to go back?

Any help would be great cheers.

Any smell from the exhaust, can you smell oil at all? Did they boost leak test it? Sometimes a little oil will leak into the exhaust when this happens (if it's a pressure test instead of smoke test) by pushing a little oil through the seal. Obviously if you pressurised the system to 20psi then you'd blow the turbo seals completely.
