Audi Concert radio volume knob problems....

Hi

Got an Audi Concert radio in my car and lately I've been having trouble with the volume knob. If you turn the knob sometimes all sound goes completely and you have to turn it all the way up again - funny that it usually happens when the is cold and re-started.

Is it possible to get in to the Concert unit and any ideas of what causes the problem?

Everyones goes. If you search for 'Concert volume' you'll see what I mean! I took mine apart and fiddled but couldnt fix it. Bought a new Headunit in the end. A shame, but as I was going to get a CD player anyway (for the boot) I though I may as well just get a CD HU.

Good luck with finding one that doesnt look like an adolescent's hifi next to the sombre audi dash though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
