6463 Update - does this cover the S3

After seeing this post on Tyresmoke about hesitation i was wondering if this update applied to the S3. And if anyone has had it done to their car?

in which case its a different engine set up again..

as far as i know 6463 update has only ever been associated with R32's.

the A3 3.2 is not FSI as far as I know. R32 and A3 3.2 have the exact same engine but different ECU program

what does that upgrade do/involve exactly?

i believe its the VW equivalent of a remap.

ie new software to get rid of any bugs people have experienced.

R32 is well known for hesitation and flat spot problems IIRC.

I had read this too - specific R32 map for specific R32 issues... I don't think it is performance enhancing in an absolute sense, more to clean up power delivery. Given the other applications of the 3.2 V6 have different maps, the problems may not be inherent, and the update innapropriate for these engines.
