Well after 2 and a half weeks sat in Grimsby the RS finally arrived at the dealer yesterday afternoon so Inam collecting at 11AM today.

Hardly slept last night because of the excitement! I screen captured the below from the video the dealer sent us.

Status 21 - after 8 days in prep - all starting to seem real now, can't wait hopefully 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Nice one! Mine left on the 5th April (i know the below says the 6th but that was when it updated) and arrived in Grimsby on the 15th April. It's still sat there today but I have been assured it will be delivered to the dealers by month end. Just to give you an idea of current timescales!

Yep, picked it up yesterday! Incredible car and that's coming from an 8p RS3!

Car status changed to on the way to uk on Saturday, African Highway docked in Sherness yesterday. Was hoping status would have changed to arriving in uk today, but remains the same

Was hoping it would work out that I could pick car up this week end as expecting it to take three days to transit and 3 days to PDI.

Frustrating and doesn't help that I am just a little impatient!!!!!

Looks great, I really like nardo with black pack.

Unfortunately for me one condition of buying the car was that my better half got to choose the colour. So I have a Sepang blue one, but the RS3 looks great in all colours.

Mine has just changed to code 70 so will have to arrange collection when I am back from holiday.

That seems crazy for such a long wait, unless its at your choice. Dealerships might have used up there allotment, but that doesn't stop them wheeling and dealing with other dealerships to swap outstanding orders around for vehicles that they have customers for.

The truth is that I have a large amount of Negative equity on my S3 as it's new. So I am content with the wait. Obviously I may re-access at a later date but there is also the chance they will move it forward but I'm not in any rush.
