Not quite sure whats going on , yesterday the Audi Tracker showed in the "Panel Shop"
Today the Tracker shows in "Quality Control"
Below, the Order Status shows the car is built and in Transit ("30")

Ask Audi online chat CS. Typically the car status updates the week before the build date on Friday to panel shop, Saturday to Paint shop, Sunday to Assembly and then on the actual date it is meant to be built moves to quality control - and then usually with in a day or two to in transit.

The first few stages up until it leaves the factory are automatic updates on the site - they are not real time - the real time updates start when it leaves the factory.

Obviously the dates above show QC on the 14th which is Monday. So its unlikely that the tracker is giving you correct information however I have seen once occasion (its in this thread if you look through it all) where the car did get built early and leave the factory early like your status updates seems to show.

Hi @deepy , a friend of mine is trying to track his new order. Where did you get that order status information from please? Is that a different order tracking site? My friend's doesn't show anything like that information.

Log into the Audi account as normal then copy and paste this link into the address bar making sure you use your own order number.
https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders/yourordernumber. I found that using the Firefox Browser makes it easier to read.

Hi Spinstorm, looks like you were right in your estimation, the history shows my car leaving Ingolstadt on 11/5/18.
This morning the Audi Tracker showed in Transit.

Hi RAPS3, Yes getting excited especially as the dealer told me that the lead time was 16 weeks. Looks like I could have the RS3 in half that time. Had to wait 9 months for my Golf 7 R so its really good news.
No movement on the Order Status or Audi tracker this morning.

All I can assume is that mine ‘missed’ the ship so to speak. Yours may be one of the last on that boat and mine may be the first on the next one.

Getting on my Chebs now though.

I have a 2500 mike Euro trip to drive in 5 weeks and was hoping to get a 1k Miles under its belt before that to bed it in before it goes for a slog around Europe

Something definitely amiss, yours was in transit about 18 days before mine, also we went status '36' on the same day !!
Rang the dealer yesterday and they've pencilled me in for collection next Thursday, can't wait.

Spoke to my dealer the other day and he explained there’s been an issue with lots and lots of cars being parked up waiting a shipping slot.

I have been assigned an RS3 originally ordered by the dealer on the 3rd March. The vehicle was assigned to me over a week ago and I understand it has been stuck on status 38 for a while.
 
After only 8 weeks my RS3 finally arrived at the dealers yesterday and picked her up this evening. Found out that it was a previously ordered allocated dealer car of which was changed to my spec, how lucky was I !! (pics to follow)

There were no prebuild slots available when I tried or ones where the spec could be altered. You'll better off asking your dealer to source once that is built to your desired spec (or near it) and is on way to the UK. Audi have quite a few pre-built cars on the way and ready to be assigned.

Bear in mind that delivery time is pot luck at the moment. There are issues with supply vs logistics and cars are being held up in Emden for 4-5 weeks plus when others end up on a boat within the normal 10-14 days.

Moved to stage 38 released for shipping and now still waiting for a slot on the 15th May.

Long wait is doing my head in.

The same. Still at status 38 and the wait is tough. It's strange how other cars still get through in good time.

The longer it takes the more worried I become. I ordered a new S5 a few years back from Bury St Edmunds Audi and it ended up damaged but the dealer tried to hide it from me. It had obviously been driven into something because one of the front wheels was a different colour to the other three and the steering wheel was left hand down when driving in a straight line. I hadn't noticed until I drove it away and took it to get detailed a few days later. Detailer - "Um, you may want to take a look at this wheel!". I thought the steering wheel alignment issue must have been in my head but then it started to make sense.
