First post here but been following the forum for a while now. Mine did exactly the same overnight, and was also due to be built on the 21st.

Looks like mine has jumped straight from 'Status 21 (Panel Shop)' to 'Status 30 (In Transit From Factory)' this morning. Is this normal? Considering the actual construction date wasn't supposed to be until Monday 21st. I'm not complaining as I'd love it to come early

Not sure how accurate it is as some of the status dates are in the future, is that normal?

That's fairly standard, the car assembly starts a few days before your build week. Normally your car is in QC on the first day of your actual build week.

Mine when straight from panel shop to in transit. The tracker is famous for being unreliable / in the future / out of date.

The important status is ---- > 39

The car has left Emden and on a boat heading to the UK. How long your car will wait at the port is the big unknown. Some ship in a few days, other wait for nearly a month. From memory mine sat for 11 days

I’m not convinced it’s accurate anyway! Mine had a different status every day for 5 days and then sat at quality control for over two weeks. Then all of a sudden it was at the port in Emden! If it’s there already, fantastic!!

Lucky you I'd be chatting with my dealer to check and make sure things get rolling!

Mine showed as leaving the factory last Friday but has only today showed up with status code 38 (arrived at Port of exit). Here was me hoping for it within the next week or so

Maybe just lucky.......... that process can take 2 or 3 weeks in some cases.

When I tracked my car another forum members car built a few days before mine was at the port for less than 48 hrs.

Mine took 15 days from factory to ferry, it landed on Monday and isn’t getting to my stealer until next Wednesday

Hit status 39 this morning so will arrive in Grimsby today. Thats where my dealer is located so fingers crossed it shouldn't take long for it to get to them

Very Nice, Went to Order one and was told they are all on hold, No orders being accepted as certains cars are going through the new EU regulations, me being impatient bought a second hand one 2015 just been traded in manual and all. Oh well will wait until next year now for new one..

Can’t see why they’d stop you ordering. I think that’s to do with EU regulations on fuel consumption figure tests, in making them more real world. All I had to do was sign a declaration acknowledging such. Unless this is something totally different?

Not sure, said they were not taking anymore orders, also mentioned something about it setting up for Model year 19, but everything is up in the air. To be honest i did want a newer model with the dynamic lights and virtual cockpit, however i had wanted an S3 for so long and i missed out on 2 others. Garage did have a lovely RS3 brand new in the Azure blue, with all the toys. But the look on the missus face when i started pricing it up with the salesman told me everything i needed to know. Its my Car Allowance of course, but am i allowed to spend it all on a car, hell no. And before anyone says anything, yes I am under the thumb, but i enjoy a peaceful life...

For those of you that had your cars arrive in the UK port recently. How is it going? Mine is currently on day 8 at Sheerness now. Any idea on the average wait time from UK Port to Dealer? I understand it's a logistical nightmare and it'll take as long as it takes, i'm just curious.

Currently on my 7th day waiting at Grimsby. Dealer reckons itll be with him on Monday. A bit frustrating as my dealer is only about 2 miles from the port, but I guess that doesnt change anything logistically. Not long to go now (fingers crossed)

Looks like I spoke too soon. Dealer has just let me know that the car is expected today and pencilled in collection for Saturday morning. Can't wait . Hopefully yours won't be too long.

Mine arrived at Sheerness on 16th May and I picked it up from the dealer on the 30th. But they did tell me that there are quite a few delays at the moment and I got quite lucky with how quickly mine got through.

Delivery next week should be possible as long as your dealer is on the ball. I hope it meets your expectations!

I collected mine late last August having waited almost 4 months for it, but yes, it still makes me smile each time I get in, I'm still pleased with my choice of colour, Nano Grey doesn't have many fans on here but I really like it. Most people who choose Grey go for Daytona which is classy colour.

Out of curiosity, is anyone else’s car on its to the port/at the port! My S3 is on its way, hoping I can get lucky with a ship so it’s not sat there for days on end!
