Yet another "Big Brakes" thread. !!!

Some great info here.

I have kept standar sized discs but have kept the rear discs plain and the pads OEM. The fronts are 4 pots 36mm and 40mm pistons with DS2500 and grooved discs. I've had some unstable braking on this setup from high speeds.

My next port of call was to match the pads all round. I've also not been very convinced by my recent set of grooved discs (ATE) so I'm going for plain discs all round.

My mate is building a race spec E36 M3 Evo at the moment and that has an adjustable brake bias valve in the glove box so it can be adjusted durin track sessions. Very handy.
 
I think the orange one activates the rear under breaking. Mine is mad under harsh breaking at the rear so I guess better pads is a must, as I get a feeling that the rears fade a lot which is odd. Silly car is just special needs!
