Yet another Airfilter Question

Need to replace the airfilter on my 04 1.8T 190 Avant.

Always used OEM as no problems with them however I was wondering what else was worth looking that may add a slightyl nicer noise.

I dont want an oil preg one so rule sout K&N

What about ITG or Piper Cross - do they offer dry drop in replacement?

A lot of the A3 8L lads are playing around with a OEM cone filter as fitted to Honda S2000's at the mo with good results.... it's a paper filter but very cheap and has a ram stack inside which aids power and it fit's straight onto the MAF.... i'll see if i can find the link

I picked up a piper cross off ebay and I'm chuffed to bits with it
