Xmas hols this year?

Evening all,
I just wanted to get some clarification on the official xmas holiday dates this year.
Am i correct in saying that Monday the 27th and tuesday 28th are official hols.

Any clarification would be great as I'm a tad confused again .

. As far as I am aware Rob , because Christmas falls on a Saturday and Boxing Day on the Sunday you get the 2 days holiday Monday and Tuesday.

Bank holidays? What are those, like days off

Same for new year and 2nd. It means 3rd and 4th is a bank holiday(for Scotland at least).
