Xenons on an SE?

Does anyone know which A6 Models on the 2001 range come with XENON headlights?

What is the difference bewtween the connections on a XENON bulb to a standard 3 pin (H7) bulb?

Is it possibly to upgrade to XENON headlights?

My lights are WEE POOR. upgraded them to 40% brighter bulbs but again not brilliant. I like the 'electric white/blue' lights that alot of TT's etc have?

Get some PIAA bulbs, not cheap but IMHO worth every penny /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
Different coloured bulbs are available, have 4100K in my headlights and bumper-mounted fogs and has transformed night-time driving.......

Best place to buy them is Ebay, mine came from Hong Kong; saved about £25 per pair on UK prices.....

I take it the wiring can handle the extra power then?

from 55w to 110w+ ?

i put some 100w in a vauxhall once and it got that hot the wires on the headlights melted and shorted!!

Power input is the same as original ie 55W, they just produce as much light as if they were really 110W bulbs.....
Its not just sales blurb, they really are that bright.....
