    Hi folks.
Think my xenon bulbs are starting to get worn out. Light seems more yellow than white. Not had this car long but had mondeo before and I seem to recall the lights being whiter..

Just wondering what are decent bulbs to get that won't cost a small fortune?
Have seen some cheap ones (£20ish) on ebay but guessing they are dirt?

I out halfords bulbs in mine. Cost £90 each unless you can get hold of a trade card which halves the price. They are pretty decent tho.

Have a trade card. Takes about 20 quid off them. But at 140 they are the same price as night breakers off ebay....

They must have changed their discount. I paid £90 for both bulbs instead of £90 each. It was the halfords own brand I got.

Yup Halford branded ones. I'm in Ireland so maybe the discount is not as good here Screenshot_20181104-095816.png

90% of the cheap marked bulbs, Osram phillips etc are fakes on Ebay. They have reasonable prices on Powerbulbs and they are genuine products.

That 10% will usually get you the bulbs at much more competitive prices though, if you're willing to take a very small gamble.

The big players (Philips and Osram) have measures in place to ensure you only get genuine bulbs, so it's worth looking these up. With eBay, you can always get a full refund if they're fake anyway.

I've just taken a punt and ordered a pair of Philips X-tremeVision Gen 2 D3S bulbs from a chap in Russia, via eBay. So we'll see what turns up.

This could be a safe bet. Mine were only £22 less than this and I have to wait until the end of the month for them to arrive.

Just to update this - my Philips X-tremeVision Gen 2 bulbs have just arrived. I used the Philips website to check authenticity and they look to be kosher.

They came in at about £103 and took about 11 days to arrive.
