Xenon bulb recommendations

Evening all.

I' m looking to replace the xenon bulbs on my A4.

The choice is between 2 Osram bulbs, the CBI's in the 6k version or the NBU.

Now I would like a nice white light which is lending me more towards the CBI bulb as from the reviews I've read, the NBU are still yellowish but at the same time I don't want to sacrifice light output.

Now from what I can see the CBI has the same lumen output as the NBU bulbs just a higher Kelvin rating but without the loss of lumens or so the spec sheet shows.

Has anyone any experiences with either or input they can add?

have you considered the morimoto's , the change in my xenon illumination has been excellent, nice bright white light too, a very sharp /crisp output.

Hi Rob.

Not really, read a few reviews about the longevity of the morimotos that put me off.

The passenger ide bulb has just about gone and the drivers side is on its way, not to mention the clutch now slipping and a knackered gear box mount. Ooh the joys of a4 ownership haha.

that's what you get with old cars, things get worn out, also like getting old....lol
