Xenon bulb recommendations

Evening all.

I' m looking to replace the xenon bulbs on my A4.

The choice is between 2 Osram bulbs, the CBI's in the 6k version or the NBU.

Now I would like a nice white light which is lending me more towards the CBI bulb as from the reviews I've read, the NBU are still yellowish but at the same time I don't want to sacrifice light output.

Now from what I can see the CBI has the same lumen output as the NBU bulbs just a higher Kelvin rating but without the loss of lumens or so the spec sheet shows.

Has anyone any experiences with either or input they can add?

I can only speak for what I have. I went for Phillips Xtreme Vision Gen2 in a D3S size, the same as I expect you’ll need. The different between the OE bulb and the new one is like night and day ... pun intended.
