Hi all,

Just had the wrap taken off of my A4 and there is a fair bit of glue residue left on the paint work which the guy couldn't remove. He got most of it off but there's still a fair bit left. He tried tar remover but with no luck.

I've heard WD40 is good? Any suggestions or tips?

Thanks in advance,
James

Autosmart Tardis would work as well.
I have a feeling that might of been what the guy used when removing it but no 100%. Tried insect remover myself and all sorts of spirits and still no joy. Waiting on my delivery of auto finesse oblitarate. If no luck with that I'll have to take it to the local detailers and see if they can crack it

Good news!! Petrol is working. Thanks to those who suggested it :salute:bad news is...it's back breaking having to scrub it all off still

Got a lot of the wrap glue off but still got a long way to go. Best things I've used are petrol and auto finesse oblitarate and a lot of hard work. Car is going to need a full paint correction detail when I'm done as it's plastered in swirls and scratches from the previous owner under the wrap.
