Wow - first A5 with oil consumption issues

I previously had an A4 petrol which had oil consumption issues. I sold that and got into a Range Rover.
I’m now up for another Audi but the first one I look at has the same problems!! It’s a 2009 A5.

This has now put me off buying any Audi full stop.

A4 & A5 share the same engines so it's no surprise. Buy a newer model that is not affected.

You need to go on the A4 B8 page. There’s tons of stuff there, but essentially it’s 2012 onwards that has the new engine.

Yeah my A5 was a MY2011 And missed the oil consumption issues, just.
It’s a well documented problem with the earlier TFSI models
