Well, its 110volt for a start, so whatever you do, don't plug it into a standard UK mains socket, which is 240volt! If you want to use it in the UK, you will need to purchase a step down transformer - something like this here You would also have to ensure that the plug fitted to it was suitable for plugging into the transformer. Personally, Id be more inclined to not use it and go for a 240v model. Much less hassle.
