Morning,

Was scouting around ebay last night and came across this;

2001 AUDI A4 1.8T QUATTRO SPORT VOTEX GMBH BODYKIT LEATHER SPARES OR REPAIRS | eBay

The car is located 5 miles from me.
The ad states that the car turns over but doesn't fire - so im guessing its probably something to do with having little to no compression. (can't see it as being as silly as an electrical issue).

My friend has an AWT engine from a passat which im guessing would be a straight swap / donor engine with a few ECU adjustments?

nice looking a4, but it's pretty old and £1600 for a non runner, chances are they have had a look and can't get it stated easily.
just to compare i was offered a 2.5tdi quattro sport,mot,tax 120k, good all round just had a dented wing for £1700.
i would say it's worth 1600 if it was running fine with no issues.
