Help had been appreciated!
Applies to Audi A4 B8 TDI 2009.
The fuel pump under the car, pump number 2 (not the one in the tank), had oxidized the cables so that it did not run, which resulted in no fuel to the engine. Took a while to find the fault but now that it is fixed the car does not start
I have bleeded / aerated the systems fuel system using vcds.
The sensor in the common rail gives values that the pressure in the common rail is only 9000-12000 pa/h (approx. 10 bar) Should be up to 280000 pa/h (approx. 280 bar]
After cranking around the engine a few laps, check oil level pops up on the dash.
Have checked under high pressure regulator valve where there is no metal from the High pressure pump which is usually if it "collapsed"
Also tested with new battery because old was a bit bad.
Anyone have any good idea where to start next?
Are there any ways to check if the High Pressure Pump is working?
Any sensor that needs to be reset?
