Wireless CarPlay

Hi All,
Do all C8 platform have wireless CarPlay ?
I know it’s from 2019 but as 2018 have the C7 and C8 models in the year I thought that all C8 may have it. Mines seems to ask to connect via cable but wasn’t sure if I was doing something wrong or if the early C8 platform still used some C7 tech.

Wireless CarPlay was not included in the initial build of the C8 and was added during 2019. However the ability for early C8s to support it is there, it just needs to be enabled via VCDS or similar. I have the tech pack also , but still required to link via cable on MY18

Most cars don't have wireless carplay, and the easiest way to get wireless carplay is to add an adapter. Carlinkit 4.0 supports both Apple CarPlay for iPhones and the AndroidAuto system for Android mobiles. Hope that can help you.
