Wiper service position

Hi,

Im trying to change my front wipers by going into the service position but it doesn’t seem to work.
Im sure this has worked for me in the past…stalk down once with ignition off. any ideas why my wipers wouldn’t move to service position?

Yeah tried this, it used to work but doesn’t seem to work anymore.
My wipers are working fine otherwise

Try it with the ignition on but engine not running?

Tried this with ignition on and off

it’s 2007 plate A3( pre facelift). Does this have DIS activated service position for wipers?

Does the single swipe work with the engine on?

Yes, I can wipe with a single swipe when engine is on

Could you do a single swipe and turn the engine off with the wipers on the screne still or do they return to the park position?

Tried on mine yesterday. Switch ignition off after running the engine then flick the stalk down on the single wipe before removing the key. On mine the wipers travel up to vertical then settle a few inches back down the travel.
