Hi everyone,

So I've got my passenger sideview mirror smashed by a motorcyclist on motorway a month ago, I ordered a replacement (I believe it is original) used mirror and it arrived yesterday (the whole sideview mirror not just the mirror itself, the whole thing was smashed) and I got it replaced today, but once I got in the car I noticed that it looks weird and that I have to turn it towards me quite a bit, fully to it's limit, and I believe it wasn't like so before, I attached some images below so you can see how much it is turned towards the driver, now I'm not sure what the problem is or even if I'm tripping so can anyone confirm if theirs is folded this much as well in order to see behind you?

Was it a LHD or RHD unit as the angles are different.

Well I just found out there's a difference, never thought of it, my car is Europe, but ordered replacement is from UK so I'm assuming it's for a RHD, what confused me is that it didn't have a blind spot on the mirror so I thought it was a passenger mirror. Also I don't see what part of the number indicates that it's for a RHD so that I can order safely next time

Part number is on the sticker on the internal motor, face, behind mirror glass.

Yes I know that, but what part of this number indicates if it's rhd?
