Wing mirror base

Anyone know if the wing mirrors from a 8p or a4 b6/7 have the same side triangle on base for fitting of if they can be swapped over. I’m thinking of fitting new mirrors but need some with the folding base which the 8l didn’t have any know if they interchangeable or stripped and swap over the electrics/ motor

Sorry @Tj 0785 I can't help but if it can be done we might be able to do what I did with my last car and wire them into the alarm locking/unlocking...

Yeah that was mantioned ina tread a few down from this
I’ve seen this on eBay and I’m wondering if I can fit my mirror casing and if needs be the triangle part of the base over

Il worry about the wiring side once I can get the mirrors sorted
