windscreen washer is useless.... why?

Hi,
my driver washer jet doesn't work and the passenger is as good as a weak bladder, gently squirting drops on the windscreen!
any idea what could be up, it doesn't appear to be blocked and the pump is making noise, but its just pathetic.

if possible, disconect the pipe befor it goes into the jets and see how much water s coming out and presure, if its ok there, then if you have access to a compresser and air line try blowing the jets out with an air line,

i had a simerliar thing happen to my dads old bmw, the jets themselves where broken, due to some presure thing inside them being messed up

i had the same problem with mine. like scot said, quick blow out and it works fine now.

where abouts are you? i've got a compressor at home if your in scotland.
