Windows one touch shut

Hi

Just a quick qu

My one touch window shut works fine when the engine is on but when the key isn't in the one touch doesn't work and you have to hold it, but the one touch one does work. Is this normal

Yes. I think its so when the engine shuts down you get basic functionality on the electrics to stop a drain on the battery.
