Window Question

Hello Folks,

Just a quick one, when unlocking the car and holding down the unlock button should the windows open or is this somethin i will require VCDS to enable?
I had this function on the TT just cant seem to get it to do the same on the A3.

It can be done and some (mine included) have it on their 8Ps. I think it's called something like "comfort windows" or something. If your car doesn't do it, must be a VCDS thing.

you can do it through the DIS

it may need a reset to get it to work
start the car and just hold the switch down all the way to drop the windows. then hold it back up to close them
then try to see if it works with the keyfob. if it doesnt then you will need to code it to work on the older models or you can change the option on the DIs as Rye says on the newer models

Thanks for the help folks, I tried the holding buttons all way down/up then try key again but got no joy. its the 2010 model I've got so I'll see if I can get it working via the DIS
