Wind deflectors - do they work

So I have a few driving weekends booked up this summer and it would be nice to hear the V8 roar with the windows down without all the buffeting.

I've never used wind deflectors and don't know anyone with them to hear and before and after.

What are your experiences? If they make a difference can you only open the window a little bit?

I have them. Alot of haters on here about them but your right, you can crack the window about 2 inches and you can just hear the exhaust with no wind noise

I've got them, the only issue I have is that your mirrors rub up against them if you have folding mirrors. Hasn't really caused any damage but worth checking now and again
