Will this work in my car, and if not, what is needed to make it work?

I just saw this listed on ebay and wondered if it will work in my car. If it wont work straight out, any ideas what is needed to make it work?

And your car is????????

Its a narrow band ECU... if you have a prefacelift S3 then it will go straight in once immo defeated or recoded... if you have an AGU A3 then forget it, if you have an AUM A3 or an AMK/BAM facelift S3 then forget it

...plus its an unknown map that could have been mapped for specific hardware of the car its from and is probably unsuitable for your setup (if we knew what it was)
