i got a show comming up fitting coilovers next week , and a few other bits , and i wanting to do some work on engine bay

Best thing you can do if you got a show is take the tdi badges off the back and keep the bonnet shut, nobody's interested in a tdi lump.

However, in answer yes, it would fit, probably not perfectly but it would probably fit.

However,you'd also be wasting a huge amount of money to spend elsewhere.
