Brilliant mate thanks, when it comes to all of this stuff I'm rubbish lol,My old OEM wheels where 7.5 inch thick ET 45 running 235 tyres.
We can then infer that 245's on 8 inch will be fine.

Just so you know, im on 20's! Running a 9inch thick wheel et 35. With 235/30/20 so it will fit![]()
I suppose I'll just need to try them lol245/40/18 is a little too big for the B6 and you may get inner arch rub due to the high ET also.
235/40/18 is the factory..........225/40/18 can also be used but give a firmer ride and looks a little odd also to be honest, but all tyres differ slightly with their side wall design
