I've found a set of wheels I like but I'm not sure if they'll fit, they're 8J ET47 With 245/40/18 tyres,

Anyone know if they'll catch or rub?

Thanks in advance :)

As long as they are 5x112 they should fit fine. Tyres should be 225/40-18 or 235/40-18 on an A4.

Will they be ok with the 245 tyres?

The tyres are nearly new on the ones I'm looking at

My old OEM wheels where 7.5 inch thick ET 45 running 235 tyres.

We can then infer that 245's on 8 inch will be fine.
Brilliant mate thanks, when it comes to all of this stuff I'm rubbish lol,

245/40/18 is a little too big for the B6 and you may get inner arch rub due to the high ET also.

235/40/18 is the factory..........225/40/18 can also be used but give a firmer ride and looks a little odd also to be honest, but all tyres differ slightly with their side wall design

I suppose I'll just need to try them lol
As Mike said above.

To help you, simply put in your old/new wheel tyre specs in the website below to workout the rolling radius and differences.
