i can get these alloys for 175 so may be worth me buying the adapter what ones do i need? ta

Are you sure they're not replicas? or even worse, stolen? 175 sounds ridiculously cheap!

alloys certainly look good, but will they suit the S3...I'm not totally convinced.

What tyre sizes are they fitted with?
If I'm right they are 245 or 255, if so I don't think you'll get away with the tyres.
As you'll have to use pcd adaptors which will push the wheels out a little.
Can you find out the details of the wheel? It'll be on the back, ET & j

Thanks, yeah cheapest 95 on ebay! prob worth it, they include tyres too, ive got 1 to look at in garage so is there any way of telling if they are genuine?
I seem to recall from previous discussions that the cheap ones on eBay weren't to be trusted?

Only due to the Load rating, they should be fine on cars but like you say I wouldn't trust eBay wheels on a van.

I'll have a look later, could roll the arches too fit them in?

I really need the info off the alloys, if I'm right they will be 255/35/19's & if they are I'm sorry you'll have problems with those tyres.

If you sort out offset/ET & get it bang on you could run 235's with no mods

Well.....they're nice wheels anyway, if you do get to fit them successfully. Good luck.

Went down bathwick tyres earlier, they dont fit and need an adapter like you said but they will stick out from the arches.
SO not gonna get them!

Thanks for helping :)
