Will a 1.9 AVF engine, run in a 1.9 BKE car?

Hi,
the timing belt has snapped on my 1.9 A4 B7, and bent the valves. Rather than fix it my brother has offered me a lower milage engine out his old crashed A4 B6.

My engine is a BKE 1.9 and his is a AVF 1.9, does anyone know if the AVF engine will run in my car? or would i have to start changing ecu's etc.
