why do my windows keep winding down when i leave the car unlocked?

hopefully someone can help me its driving me mad. i just finished polishing the car and cleaning the windows and they both went down causing annoying wet streaks

Did you have your key in your pocket? Press and hold the unlock button and it opens the windows... Press and hold the lock button and it closes them.
