Why did you choose the username you did?

Just totally random, but why did you choose your particular username? I've seen some completely random names and wonder where the idea came from!

Mine is simple.

Its my name shortened with letters, First name, middle name and surname.

2) it comes from another forum where my original nickname was changed by one of the mods to 'the_wire' after providing much tech support to him on how to monitor and audit his home PC usage and providing some software that would achieve what he wanted, and it's just sort of stuck.
