Like above but couldn't mine if sharks was stage 3 or stage 2+ just wondering how your getting on with it ? Any problems ? Weaknesses in car running at that power? I already have tbe intake and custom stage 1 next year hopefully clutch, coilovers, mounts, pump my plans were stage 2 but after hearing that its not that great it's put me off but now if I wanna go further I'm looking at intercooler and prob adventually brakes! Stage 2 was my goal I'm nearly running they figures and my car is quick enough for me would the car run good at stage 2 with the pump ? I know it seems daft going that far but ur looking at another 600 for cooler then another 2k for brakes as I want the vw racing ones nice! And I don't really think ill have that spare money next year, any advice would be awsum

you don't need intercooler for stage 2+. it helps a lot especially when it's hot, but it's not necessary. brakes are good but not excellent especially if you abuse them on the track. you might aswell go for oem ttrs 4 pot upgrade like i did for few hundreds of €. i find them great at stage2+ even with oem pads and discs. stopping has improved a lot!!! and they look great!!

The engine is pretty tough in general, and will cope with 440lbs of torque before you need to rebuild the bottom end,so that's pretty well sorted.

The manual clutch is rubbish and would need either a Loba or `Sachs for that sort of torque.

Intercooler.....a great set of choices right now, from ProAlloy,THS,APR and Airtec.

Brakes.....right now I would be looking at something from DaveB1970,or an AP kit, which I think is better than the VWR(which I have, and have modified a fair bit) and certainly no more expensive.

At Stg2+(Revo) or Stg3(Shark) a good brake setup is advisable, and also the suspension would need uprating.

They brakes look good where you get them from ? What's all needed? Is that a guy on this forum Alex? Sorry for asking same stuff as usual just trying to talk myself into just going stage 3! Haha just won't have the 2k for brakes but if there's cheaper options that are half decent i don't do track days and won't be pushing it into corners ill drive to what I feel comfortable with the brake setup I get, ill be getting coilovers as a start next year along with clutch then take it from there how much is your s3 in that pic lowered by that front sits perfect!!! Did you need spacers ? Got any pics of the full car?

Graeme my mate gets Porsche 6 pot caliper set-ups and hes on here. TurboNutz has bought one of his set ups I believe so if you want his name drop me a PM.......Price when I was looking at them was under £1k for discs and calipers and hoses.

if you're asking me, i don't know how much is lowered as i've tried different heights and it was lower but we got some stupid speed bump arround whole town and they are shorter than the wheel base so this is the lowest it could go and clear the speed bumps. but i guess the gap between the tyre and fender is 1cm.
i've had 12 mm spacers on the front before and they do clear the brakes with facelift wheels about 6mm. so even 10mm would do the job.
got the brakes from german ebay almost new for really good price. it would probably cost me the same if i upgraded s3 discs and pads :D
there are pics in my build thread through stages...

Thanks s yeah I was asking you sorry if it didn't come out that way do u still have spacers ? I've been told 12 on back and 10 on front I hate when the wheel sits inside the arch and I'm not planning on going low with mine anyways don't want any running issues hhmmm I might have to check out a German eBay mark ill keep that in mind would prefer the ttrs ones tho they look nice keeping the standard look is nice specially on the Audi I love the look of mine so want to keep it :) ill have a look at your build thread what cooler is the best for ur money's ?

i'm running front 12mm the ones i've originally bought for the back. no issues but i do also have walk kit and camber is maxed at front i think -1,5°.
wagner ic is pure porn but expensive. there are lots of options now (ths, loba, forge, proalloy, airtec, wagner...) and all do the job.

Hi...the setup on mine is far from standard,as the suspension has adjustable topmounts and wider rims and so on.

It's not lowered as far as it should be,as I need wider front arches to be able to drop it a bit more,so it's about 10mm down, but really needs a little more.
That's being sorted right now.

How do I get hold of this daveb1970 I wanna try and price up some sort of brakes so I can get mmy money's together for next year been reading up on the ttrs brakes and fitment and stuff but to be honest I am struggling dont have a clue haha my garage I use is pretty good and know there stuff think the guy now owns an rs3 well so I've been told not been there in few months so if I got a kit together be would manage to fit it no problems as for suspension ill just go for coilovers and little drop at the moment maybe spacers but ill see how it looks first not decided on what ones yet haha

Yep that makes sense haha im such a dumb *** sometimes lol ill give him a mail thanks guys
