those wheels must just be for show, there is no way they won't rub like mad when being driven. Look good tho. Most of these cars are too low and the wheels sit too high up in the arch and dont look right at all. This one is the best looking IMHO (apart from the shark fin)
Nitto Jim half the boyz are running big rim's and low, these car's run fine with a nice drop. The summer is coming and you will see no end of lowered a4 vant's sallon's and so on at all the show's. When i had my AP coilover's on you could not see the top of the tyre on the rear's,done over 1000k to all the event's no rubing
I was refering to the blue car above with regards to rubbing, the wheels look too big for the arch's. All the others that are very low, IMHO I don't think it looks very good unless there is an even gap all the way round the tyre and arch
The S4 (blue) look's to me if it's running 20's but could also be 19's. It's on coilover's and will run sweet. Jim your car would like nice lowered with a set of 19's tucked up inside the arch Ask someone on this forum to do a photoshop on your car, and see how nice it will look, i have 19's and Lowered and the ride is good .... Go on Jim treat yourself
2 kids & not having the name William Gates = std wheels for Jim. I wouldn't want bigger wheels or have it lowered any more, its on a std sport setup with 17" which IMHO is the perfect balance between ride comfort and performance
What sort of job would £1400 get you?I often wonder about getting a car sprayed white. It must cost a fortune to get done properly, engine bay and door slams etc.
There is a white one!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING. Was it all uk spec, right hand drive etc? I honestly didn't think there were any white ones in the UK. Shame he's kept it bog standard though. That thing could be so nice.
Yeah all uk spec. Would look alot better with colour coded lowers but it still looked good tho! I saw him in my rear view and thought hang on white b6! roof rails! must be an avant so I slowed and let him passed to see if was! I have a good eye for white estates in my rear view! :busted_cop: and unmarked skodas and volvo's Yeah I think it was a TDi, Not sure if it was quattro or not as it had no grille badge either! It had Poole Audi on the number plate surround so its from your way James
Here's a white one which i really love the look of. Personally I've always loved white cars, before they got fashionable again.
I think the wheel's make or break a car. I think the wheel's on this vant look like TSW Nogaro or Indy 500's
The wheels on that white avant look amazing! And I completely agree...wheels can make or break a car. Currently mine break my car...oh well!
Damn you James!! lol it's making me want to vinyl wrap mine in gloss white! I do love my Nogaro blue but I am thinking it would always be reversible and will protect the paint work underneath....
would love to if I had the spare monies! might price it up and see about doing it myself. can't be that hard to vinyl wrap it
Exactly! seen a few vids on youtube wrapping Ferrari's and Porsche's looks easy! famous last words...
The before and after on that B6 is amazing! I doubted it was a B6 until I saw the rear lights as the front is sop different. Sam, you really need to wrap yours...soon
Sam, hope your motors going strong now buddy. Here's a bit of a teaser for you with the old vinyl wrapping not an S4 but still... http://www.r36owners.net/forum/viewt...&t=274&start=0
Some awesome looking white Avants!! I've literally just picked up my S4 Avant (B6) and had planned on wrapping it white anyway (im a signwriter so can do it myself). Seen a couple on Audizine already in the US. Problem i've got is knowing what wheels to get...... Any ideas? I want to go 19's with possibly a wider rear (if not i'll use spacers). Top of the list at the mo is the BBS LM reps..... Any other ideas? Will post pics of progress as i'm wrapping her. Chris
Six months since I updated this! Where does the time go .... ? I'm not 'usually' a B7 fan, but .... For anyone who wants a bit more than a Cupra splitter.... Just 'cos: cfoster - are you sure you want to take your white vinyl off??
