Whistling noise from AC system

I've been getting constant whistling noise when I turn on the AC system in my car and it is most pronounced when the air vents are set to diffuse and half fan speed.

I'm hoping it's a leaf stuck somewhere or something simple to fix.

Any ideas?

I would adjust your airvents. As sometimes the simplistic things make the difference. I.e push/pull at centre to adjust flow or turn the dial to again adjust air through vent.

I tried doing that but the noise is still there. Could it be an obstruction of some sort?

Nope! I figured it's not worth a trip to the dealer and got used to it.

I will get it fixed when the first service is due though.
