What oil would you guys recommend for the 50 Tdi?

I need to top up soon and thought I'd check on here.

But FYI the Audi branded one is exactly the same as the Shell Helix Ultra Professional 0w-30 one but with Audi's own logo, both meet the VW 504.00 / 507.00 specification. Either will be fine.

My 50 tdi, 15 months in, 9k miles, no oil refill required yet....

sorry for not replying - completely missed this!

Ours is a 19 plate and after 8500 miles the oil level was showing below a quarter
