which battery do i need

i have a B6 A4 1.9TDI 2003

my battery is on its way out so needs replacing.

The old battery is a cheap brand and looks really big.

just wondered if anyone knows the replacement i should be looking at as there is lots of choice and different sizes.

I pondered which battery to get for longer than most spend and concluded this was the best (and bought it):

Big warranty, not too heavy, not too light/weak, latest model, good amount of amp hours, good amount of cold cranking amps, basically a perfect diesel all rounder that I haven't looked back on and my car has stood around allot since with no issues.

Some VAG same models came with two different size batteries depending on equipment and can be clamp dependent .

Best to find out which one you have on there first .
