Which Amp for Sub?

Hey alright,Im going to be upgrading my system in my A3 and just have the standard speakers and sub along with a alpine headunit.
Im going to start off with puting a better sub in,i just dont know what kind of amp i would have to have please?.it will just be used for runing the sub,& would a 10inch and 12inch be much different in sound?.im just after a nice punch bass nothing major cheers

Get yourself an AMSS sub from AndyMac on here. The best single audio upgrade you can do in the 8L, and you keep your boot space!!!

Yeah ive seen that set up mate and it does look wicked,just abit out my budget at the mo really mate.so im thinking of getting the active sub from FLI.The 10inch one,andy recommend that one.
