Got the trunk open
Had to climb in from the back seat
And remove the panel from the trunk lid
To do this all you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a bent Phillips screwdriver like the one in the pic to get the two screws out of the handle.
Once I got the panel out of the way all you do is move the little lever over and the trunk pops open, shown in the other pic with the panel moved back.
I got the botton freed up but the key still won't go in. However it does make it about half way now, big improvement. Maybe after a few days soaking in some pb the pins will free up.
Most definitely will need a new vac pump
And will absolutely be a great project car
